Fly Draenei Friday - Samaramon

I'm back with yet another fabulous Fly Draenei Friday!  Thanks to everyone who is sending their fly draenei to me, they are amazing!  I think the week needs two Fridays so I can show them off faster :D  This week we have an awesome draenei monk mog from the lovely Samaramon.  She has a blog called Samaramon's World where she posts all kinds of beautiful mogs, and lately she has been posting unique eye-makeup ideas to match them.  How cool is that?!  She also has some fantastic fan art, so make sure you check her out!

Sam says...
"I know this might look too simple compared to other outfits, but I like the simplicity as I don't think monks need a lot of gear to fight, it would hold them back.  I like this because the color scheme is kind of earthy, green and brown, but also kinda tribal."

Well Sam, in this case simple is beautiful, and I think your explanation of monks not needing huge pieces of gear is great!  Sam also said her monk is still leveling here, so kudos for looking good on the journey ;)

Thanks for sending in your wonderful mog!!

And now, some of my fantastic realm-mates!

Jubilee is another super fly monk with some fierce fist weapons! Spaulders of Black Betrayal, Insignia Chestguard and Leggings, with two of Theldurin's Fist.

I wasn't able to get the best shot of Lunil, but her mog is so pretty!  Karna's Poncho, Aldor Tabard, Anchorite's Robes, Ebonweave Gloves, and High Councillor's Sash.

Alsu is looking hot in her Volcanic Vestments...
...and Pasito is soo cool in her Saltstone set with Heaving Plates of Protection.

Hope you enjoyed this edition of FDF! Remember, if you or someone you know is a Fly Draenei, send me a screenie and I'll feature your mog here!

  2. I love the outfit - and I agree about monks not needing too much. Man, am I ever struggling to dress my male pandaren monk though...if only I could find some baloony orange trousers so that he looks like a Shaolin monk, instead of all these suits that just look like pajamas!

    1. Hehe, monks may not need loads of armor, but you're right pajamas just aren't appropriate for killing baddies!! :P

  3. Awsome as always! I noticed that Sam, you and me all agree on which draenei haircut is the monk one. :)

  4. A very lovely outfit indeed! That combination seems to suit Monks very, very well.

  5. Nice selection, and yeah Samaramon's draenei monk outfit is really well put together and simple. I can see how the top fits a monk who had to fly around like a ninja.

Also, Lunil is really cool. Bulls-eye cloth draenei.
